I'm back in Sydney next week and looking for work.

Basically, I'm looking for something where I have the chance to work with cool people and get creative. I'm really looking to be challenged leading up to the new year, so if you have any leads then bring it.

My skillset is pretty broad I'm always looking to try new things, so there are a few directions I can go in. Here's a run-down.

Studied computer science (USYD(, 2 years of software development experience in C# and VB.
2 years graphic design/desktop publish experience, mostly using Photoshop and Illustrator.
Studied advertising (AWARD school), no industry experience but particularly interested in getting into this field or something involving social engineering.
Also some experience in hospitality and education.

Cheers

Any luck man?

What are you doing?

I'd also get on here man and just pump everyone ~ find out what agencies are doing what, and just talk to them http://creativity-online.com/

You know the industry is about who you know, and talk comes cheap, show them some action and initiative, and if they say, nothing available right now, just say "well can I send you a copy of my resume for your file and give you a call back in a month?"

I say just push the initiative.

Find contacts, and invite them to help you.

Nothing yet.

I'm basically a design & tech all-rounder (a jack of all trades, crap at all trades, as Dazzles would say. The tool) and have been applying for everything DTP, graphic design and IT.

Thanks for the link, will check it out.
